Swimming pools and leisure centres are facing spiralling energy costs, but have inexplicably been left out of the highest level of support in the Government’s Energy Bills Discount Scheme. Munira has tabled a cross-party motion asking the Government to urgently rethink this and extend additional support to these facilities. You can read the text here.
