On 6 September, Munira spoke to Martin Stanford of LBC News about what the new Prime Minister’s first priorities in office should be.

Munira told Martin it’s absolutely clear that the Prime Minister’s first priority must be to scrap the energy price in October, to save families and pensioners from social catastrophe. We then need a general election so we can have the real change this country needs.

Earlier in the week, Munira spoke to Times Radio about the need for a windfall tax on oil and gas company profits – a policy the Liberal Democrats have long been calling for.
