With many residents concerned about crime in the local area, Munira meets regularly with local police to discuss how they are tackling knife crime, burglaries, anti-social behaviour and vehicle and bike theft. Most recently, Munira joined officers for walkabouts in Twickenham and Hampton. Recruitment and retention of staff is a real issue, which is why the Liberal Democrats are calling for a return to neighbourhood policing and a reversal of officer cuts.
